Let me explain to you my unique approach to servicing an irrigation system. Everyone has a different perspective of what exactly a sprinkler system should be. Some people just want effective coverage for a healthy landscape, while others are willing to pay for every detail of the system to be perfect. When I arrive at your home I will first introduce myself and listen to the concerns you have. Then I will evaluate your system, verify the legally required components, and visually inspect and adjust each spray head as the system operates. I will flag all the concerns and recommendations I have and when the inspection is complete, I will walk around your yard with you and discuss each flag, my concern, what it will cost to repair it and finally if this is something that is important to you. So long as your system is legal, you may pick and choose what you would like me to do, what you are willing to take on yourself, or what is simply not in the budget this trip. After our walk through I can add up the cost of each flag and give you a fair price before I start the work. Sometimes repairs will be required to complete the inspection and if the need arrives, we can talk about that during the walk through.

Things You Should Know!

· A License is Required: 

Irrigation in Texas is regulated by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) P.O. Box 13087 Austin Texas 78711-3087, www.tceq.state.tx.us; Only a Licensed Irrigator can sell, design, or consult irrigation in Texas. A Licensed Technician can work for a Licensed Irrigator but still requires a license. If your sprinkler guy doesn’t have a license then they are not legally qualified to work on your sprinkler system. Aside from the lack of knowledge, there is a risk of contaminating the public water supply putting your family and neighbors at risk. 

· Don’t turn it off: 

The very worst thing you can do to your sprinkler system is to simply turn it off for a lengthy time. A sprinkler system typically should operate year round in our region with seasonal programming. Special procedures should be followed to help your system endure a heavy freeze or a lengthy shut down.

· New Installation Consulting: 

Not all systems are created equal. There are some real behind the scenes/underground things that can take place to turn a potentially great system into a real nightmare. I don’t install new sprinkler systems anymore but I do offer consulting and referrals to help you compare apples to apples and make the best choice.

· Pool Installs:

 If you call me out to consult and/or disconnect you existing sprinkler system before a new pool dig, there is the potential to save hundreds of dollars on the post pool renovation. You should have the pool plan in hand and be ready for service, sometimes I can isolate the construction zones allowing the unaffected areas to continue watering during construction, and at very least I can map the existing system vitals and prevent some residual damage.
